Evander Holyfield’s Son Defends Dad’s Remarks about Gays

Evander Holyfield’s son is coming to his father’s defense against remarks the boxer made about homosexuals on UK’s “Celebrity Big Brother.”
As previously reported, Holyfield told a housemate Sunday that being gay is like being handicapped, because a doctor can fix both. He was immediately chastised by fellow houseguests as well as show producers.
Ewin Holyfield tells TMZ that his father is not a bigot. “My dad is the most loving and caring person you will ever meet. He treats everyone like a human being … even if they are homosexual.”
Ewin added that he has a gay uncle, and Evander treated him like a brother.
“My dad feels that being gay is a choice,” Ewin said. “And naturally that’s how things work. You cannot procreate and make a baby with two women, or two men. But at the same time, my dad is not going to judge someone for their sexual orientation.”
