Oprah Winfrey is known for her milestone birthday bashes, but she may switch things up for her upcoming 60th.

According to reports, the media mogul is considering canceling her star-studded party and engaging in a low-key celebration with best friend Gayle King and longtime boyfriend Stedman Graham instead.

“The invitations were ready to go out, but she decided not to send them yet,” a source told the NY Daily News. The guest list included the Obamas, Julia Roberts, John Travolta, Tom Cruise and performances by Beyonce and Tina Turner.

During an appearance on “CBS This Morning” earlier this year, Oprah said she wanted to have “the biggest blowout party I can dream of” for her 60th birthday.

“The 6-0 number, I’ve always said to people to own it,” she said. “Even I — who’s said to women all these years, ‘Own it, own it, own it’ — took a pause for that, took a beat for that. Because you think of what you thought 60 was and what you imagine 60 to be. But this is how I live my life: I think about all the people that didn’t make it … I think to be able to claim that number, to own it. Bring it on!”

The gala is still scheduled for Jan. 29. We’ll keep you posted as more details arise.
