Zoe Saldana has been keeping her marriage on the hush-hush for six months, but now she’s finally ready to talk!
The newlywed stopped by “Jimmy Kimmel Live” on Tuesday and confirmed her secret nuptials to Italian artist Marco Perego. And judging by her smile, she’s loving every minute of it.
“Congratulations! You got married since the last time I saw you,” host Jimmy Kimmel said.
“I did,” the Out of the Furnace actress replied. “Thank you, thank you. And congratulations to you, too. You got married!”
“Thank you. It’s not a competition, though,” Kimmel shot back. “We don’t need to just go around getting married.”
Saldana went on to reveal the location of her top-secret June wedding. “I got married in England. I did it in England,” she said. Can you top that?”
“Uh, no,” Kimmel said.
“So it is a competition, I guess,” Saldana added, laughing.
The lovebirds have successfully kept their relationship on the low, but they made a rare public appearance at the Staples Center last night. Zoe and Marco walked hand-in-hand to see Beyonce’s Mrs. Carter Show stop in L.A.
