Hi, my name is Eric Crear. I am 15 and my sister’s name is Nyanna – she is 11. We would like to tell you about Our 56-year-old grandma mom. We have lived with her for over 10 years and she loves to play kickball with us. She makes sure we do well in school and that we attend church on Sundays – where she is an usher and a deaconess.
She is a strong women who refuses to give up on life. I thank God for her every night before I go to sleep. She has been diagnosed with breast cancer 4 times – and beat it each time. She is a true survivor and living proof that early detection is the key to beating the disease.
She worked at Macy’s for over 30 years as a graphic designer until she retired. She used to volunteer at our school in the cafeteria but when she retired, they went and offered her a position as a clerk for the cafeteria and also as a cheer leading coach.
She just turned 55 and we celebrated at home with a pizza party movie night. She loves photography and she shoots weddings, portraits and does scrapbooks on the side. she puts them together on shutterfly.com. Her camera is “okay” but she could use an upgrade with more features and bigger memory and different lenses.
My mom will give the clothes of her back to help anyone, she is a people person. And she means the world to me.
