Washington Washington Football Team offensive lineman Trent Williams accused NFL umpire Roy Ellison of calling him a “garbage ass disrespectful motherfucker” during Sunday’s game versus the Philadelphia Eagles.
Williams explained to reporters after the game, “For you to take that from the team and the refs. I think it’s very unprofessional… It sucks. I’m at a loss for words you know, you never expect that as a player going into the game to have to beef with the refs also.”
One of Williams teammates confirmed that he also heard the umpire’s remarks.
