    1. Sorry for the Typos . It was a 50Yr Old White Male who was scared of a potential Black Person trespassing his property by trying to open the door. Why was this 18 yr old woman travelling on her own late at night ? The story doesn’t make sense . Why did her car brake down , and her phone was dead ? Where did she come from ? and where was she going? this November and I presume she was still a student why was she not a home sleeping ? If her parents are that concerned why didn’t they exercise some control on this 18Yr Old? Africn Americans must start to take ownership of their lack of control of their Kids and quit blaming other races for racism . I sure as hell wouldn’t start knocking on other peoples door late at night , especially in Detroit

      • Her car did not break down. She struck a parked vehicle at high speed and left the scene on foot. Why, when a neighbor had come out to her and called police? Ms. Mcbride was 3 times over the legal limit for alcohol in her system at the time of accident. Oh, and weed in her system, if not on her. This explains why Ren-eeeee-Sha wandered for the next 2 hours trying to sober up. Let’s count her crimes to this point : underage drinking, operating a motor vehicle under the influence, leaving the scene of an accident, possession of weed, and over the next 2 hours, trespassing and attempted break and entering. Only her family, who has already been exposed on one lie, shot in back, is “claiming” she knocked on the door for assistance. It don’t make sense, 2 hours later and 6 blocks away.

    2. We are all sory for this tragedy that need not have happened in a perfect world. We do not live in a perfect world that is why this young child lost her life.
We know what the problem is now onto the solution in order to avoid a repeat given the high crime rates involving African Americans , in this case Metro Detroit where there are rampant Black on Black Murders , Black on White crimes, and in this case a frightened 50 Yr old Black male who shot and killed a stranger that was tresspassing his property past Midnight . This Man who happens to be White wa scared taht is why he shot and killed this youngstern. Black Parents must teach their Kids to think before they act , She would have been alive had she made sure her phone was fully charged , and she could have avoided travelling late at night on her own in Metro Detroit , Only Street Wise people dare travel late at night in Detroit.

      • True dat Joe, a well constructed, thoughtful response based on FACTS. I award you the “Holla at the scholar” award of the week.
        Peace/Out.
