  • Few things have the capacity to take mothers from zero to 100 in 60 seconds flat quite like hurtful things being said about their children. And one secret Facebook group is finding that out the hard way.

Melissa Antenucci was socializing with other mothers interested in gently used baby clothing when she discovered the secret group. Now she is on a mission to expose the childish and insensitive parents for “bullying babies,” some of whom are premature and disabled.

One mom wrote about a toddler’s picture, “Before I address this…It…I want to point out that it makes my heart happy that you have a Mean Girls tab in your computer. Good stuff. Now, # 1 is this a he or a she…You absolutely can not fix ugly. This is a God given example of such.”

Another mother chimed in, “An ugly baby thread. I have died and gone to heaven…why can’t you guys live near me so we can do this over cocktails?”

“The things that these mothers said were the most horrific things that I have ever seen, being a mom and knowing that they are moms,” Antenucci said.

When I was in high school there were tons of girls that acted the way these moms are acting now. It’s so sad to think that some people aren’t capable or maybe just don’t want to mature and be a decent human towards others. And sadly I know some moms now that would jump at a chance to be excepted by the moms in this group.
