Days after her good friend Kim Kardashian got a ring from Kanye West, Ciara got a proposal of her own.
While celebrating her Oct. 25th birthday over the weekend in New York City, the 28-year-old got a surprise marriage proposal and 15-carat diamond engagement ring from her boyfriend Future, her rep confirms to Us Weekly.
“Today Has 2 Be Like One Of The Sweetest Days Of My Life! #TheBestBirthdayEver” the singer tweeted on Sunday, Oct. 27. “If I’m Dreaming I Don’t Want to Wake up!”
It will be the first marriage for both, who confirmed their relationship in early 2013. Future (real name, Nayvadius D. Wilburn) collaborated with Ciara on her latest, self-titled album.
“She’s a beautiful woman, amazing, incredible, everything that comes with those words, that’s what she represents.” Future, 29, told Vibe back in February. “I love music, she loves music. And we love being in the studio with each other. We love being around each other and that’s just what it is. The chemistry is there. It’s amazing. She makes me happy, I make her smile.”
