Books are part of the reason why some people buy Kindles and thankfully, e-readers of all brands have helped to encourage reading. Now George Wallace has a new book “Laff it Off,” that should encourage even more people to read. Wallace, who has a long-time residency in Las Vegas, says that comedy has helped him to deal with all of life’s challenges.
“I’m the most successful comedian you ever met in your life,” Wallace tells the Tom Joyner Morning Show. It’s not about how much money you make, it’s about how you enjoy your life while you’re living. I had the greatest parents in the world, they both were gone by the time I was 17. But they taught me well and they prepared me for the world. It was a bad hand to be dealt. But I’ve dealt with it, I’ve done well and God has blessed me. I went to school and got 3 degrees and all that. This book is a self-help book, it’s a life coach book, it teaches you how to enjoy life, and it challenges your fears. It teaches you to enjoy life better. It’s so important to have fun while you’re here.”
LIsten to Jay Anthony Brown’s hilarious response to the book above.
