Adrian Peterson has an Alleged Fourth Child

In case you’re keeping track, Peterson is the baby daddy of three other children: A 6-year-old daughter, a 2-year-old son and another 2-year-old son, Tyrese Robert Doohen, who Peterson found out about a couple of months ago and only met the day before he died of injuries allegedly inflicted by his mother’s boyfriend.

USA Today is reporting that South Dakota’s State’s Attorney Tom Wollman said the investigation of Joseph Patterson, the man charged in the death of Tyrese Robert Doohen, the 2-year-old son of Adrian Peterson is ongoing and that he doesn’t expect to file new charges until the probe is complete, perhaps early next week.

“We are continuing to gather reports at this point,” Wollman said Tuesday.

Little Tyrese was pronounced dead on Friday, two days after Patterson, 27, called to report the boy was choking in the south Sioux Falls (South Dakota) apartment they shared with the boy’s mother.

  1. According to the article he didn’t meet this child who died until a day before the death. Can I concluded that he was able to play football so soon afterwards, not because anyone great mental strength, but because he had no emotional attachment to the child. Sad.

    • Tami, that is correct. This is not the same child, AP Jr. that was initially reported by all the newscast erroneously without doing a proper investigation. This was a fling he had w/ a woman he knew and she ended up getting pregnant. There were issues regarding the paternity of the baby and when it came out that it was his, he made no attempt to build a relationship w/ the child and the man the baby’s mother was currently in a relationship w/ continued playing the role until they broke up. So as the article is written, he did not meet the child until a couple of days until the child passed away which is sad and triffling on all parties involved.
