From “Country Grammar” to “Hot in Herre,” St. Louis, Missouri’s own Cornell Haynes, better known to hip-hop fans as Nelly has always come with a fun, catchy hit. His latest release “M.O.” dedicated to his hometown should continue that trend with songs like “Get Like Me” with Pharrell and Nikki Minaj.

Given his comfort with the party anthem, the 2014 Fantastic Voyage is a natural place for him to be, which is why he’ll be joining George Ciinton, Ice Cube, Shaggy, Heads of State, Chante Moore, Charlie Wilson and Katt Williams onboard. The Carnival Conquest sails from Miami March 16 and doesn’t return until the 23rd.

“Is the boat coming back?” Nelly asks The Tom Joyner Morning Show. Nelly says he’ll be bringing his St. Louis crew and his family, although he’s a little concerned about his parent’s behavior. “My mom and my pop they might be a little too hype,” Nelly laughs. Note to Nelly, on the Fantastic Voyage there is no such thing.

Will long-rumored girlfriend Ashanti be coming? Nelly declines to provide any definitive answer, since the former or current couple depending on who you believe has never actually acknowledged being a couple. (The latest rumors put Nelly with actress Tae Heckerd, so maybe she’ll be onboard.)

As for his latest album, his first in three years, with songs featuring 2 Chainz, T.I., Trey Songz, Fabolous, Wiz Khalifa and Canadian singer Nelly Furtado, Nelly is swinging for the fences.

“It’s stands for Mo., it’s stands for the Show Me and it stands for my method of operation, so it’s me being me, repping me and being where I’m from at all times.”

Nelly will also return to “The Real Husbands of Hollywood” which premieres it’s second season on BET on Tuesday, October 15 at 10 p.m.
