A 12-year-old Texas boy is earning praise today after he was able to remain calm on a 911 call while his mother’s home was being broken into.
Deion Murdock of Port Arthur, TX kept it cool despite being home alone while intruders crept through his home, he told the 911 dispatcher, “Someone’s trying to break into my house.” Adding, “I’m in my mother’s room right now. Please hurry” before the 911 dispatcher eased his fears and assured the pre-teen help was on the way.
He went on to say, “I’m going to have to whisper now because I think they’re coming in,” he said in a low whisper. “It sounds like there are multiple people.”
The two suspects were arrested and Murdock was not harmed in the ordeal.
