It seems Atlanta raper Gucci Mane can’t keep himself out of somebody’s court room. He’s being sued for appearing at a club and performing for 15 minutes before making a mad dash for the exit.
According to reports, Empire Entertainment is suing the “Wasted’ rapper saying they paid Gucci $22,500 to appear at a club in Little Rock, Arkansas. Gucci was slated to appear on November 22, 2012. However, Gucci Mane began promoting a show in Tenessee which was to be the same night as his Little Rock show. Empire Entertsinment claims they called and asked Gucci Mane’s people about the show in TN, but were assured that Gucci would be at the Little Rock show because there was no show in TN.
Though Empire say they were assured of the opposite, Gucci Mane performed at the show in Little Rock for 15 minutes which equals three songs. After the three songs, Gucci is said to have left the club and driven to the Tennesse show 138 miles away. Empire says once that show was completed, Gucci Mane drove back to the hotel Empire Entertainment provided.
Empire Entertainment is suing for the performance fee, the cost of the hotel, travel and promotional costs. Gucci Mane has yet to respond to the lawsuit.
