The Oprah Winfrey Network has given a series order to “It’s Prime Time,” a reality series starring former two-sport superstar Deion Sanders and co-produced by his girlfriend, Tracey Edmonds, who will also appear in the series as well as her two sons.

Edmonds is also co-producing the series along with Deion’s Prime Time Media Ventures and Rogue Atlas Productions, in association with Lionsgate. Eli Frankel, Edmonds and Sanders will executive produce.

The series will feature the football and baseball pro, broadcaster, businessman, educator and father strive to keep his life in balance as he raises five children in a household that also includes his mother, her foster children, aunt and uncle while guiding the charter school he launched to help underserved areas.

This marks Sanders’ second docuseries following Oxygen’s short-lived 2008 “Deion & Pilar: Prime Time Love.” The series followed Sanders and his then-wife at home and ran for eight episodes.

The network, ahead of its Thursday presentation to TV press at the Television Critics Association’s press tour, also unveiled the summer lineup and premiere dates for “Oprah’s Next Chapter.”
