“Africa is important,” according to President Barack Obama who contends the reason why he came to Africa for this three nation tour is that Africa is rising with six out of ten countries on the continent becoming the fastest growing economies.
With that, Thursday in Dakar, Senegal, President Obama participated in bi-lateral meetings with President Macky Sall and held a press Conference with reporters where he answered questions on a host of issues that pertained to matters in the United States, particularly the Supreme Court decisions on Same-Sex Marriage, Voting Rights, NSA Leaker Edward Snowden, and the health of the man he calls his hero, Nelson Mandela.
