Ludacris’African girlfriend, Eudoxie Agnan headed back home to Gabon to gift little African girls with dolls. The dolls she chose didn’t reflect the chocolate skin that a majority of those African girls have, instead, Eudoxie showed up with White dolls for them.
Eudoxie posted the above photo of her little sister next to a suitcase filled with her charitable donation and it sparked several varying reactions via social media.
Its a beautiful gesture, the gift of giving but the babydolls/barbies shouldve been AFRICAN-AMERICAN, BLACK. @eudoxiee—

Nice gesture. But it’s lacking awareness. We fight everyday to show that Black is Beautiful @eudoxiee.—

To those critics, Eudoxie said:
Anyone trying to tell me what color gifts I should be giving, don’t worry I will give you the chance to do the giving. I’m saving your info and will be contacting you once I get back to receive the black people gifts you will rather I give away in Africa. You will get the chance to show me your giving hearts by sending the gifts to my office in ATL. And make sure all the clothes you wear, the car you drive, the house you live in are BLACK. If you are black everything you wear, drive, drink should be in the color BLACK.
Now, I am no stick-in-the-mud when it comes to dolls reflecting the color of the little girl who owns them. However, I feel is Eudoxie was heading all the way home to Africa, the least she could do was provide the girls with dolls that look like them.
