W. Kamau Bell, the current host of the late night show “Totally Biased“ on FX, didn’t shy away from the chance to use his public forum the other night to voice his thoughts on the George Zimmerman murder trial. ‎

Unlike the jurors who are brought in to hear both sides of the case before passing judgment, Bell weighed in his own personal verdict calling the defendant a “racist, child-killing coward.”

“Jury selection began this week in the trial of alleged murderer and definite racist George Zimmerman,” Bell said as he showed who he would put on the jury if given the opportunity to choose. “Of course I’m a supporter of fair trials,” he said, “but if there’s any god in heaven–and I’m pretty sure there isn’t, here’s who would be deciding Zimmerman’s fate.” The list included everyone from Chuck D. to “Fat Al Sharpton” to four different versions of Samuel L. Jackson.

Bell continued on with his very candid and unfiltered assessment of Zimmerman not leaving much to the imagination:

Bell’s show has aired weekly since its launch last summer, but starting this fall, it will be on every night at 11pm, in direct competition with “The Daily Show.”
