    UPDATED 5/21/13, 5:02 p.m.: Sad news. It has just been confirmed that 9-year-old Janae Hornsby, one of the many children who went missing during the tornado that hit Moore, Okla., yesterday, was found dead. KOCO-TV 5 reports that Hornsby’s family was notified this morning that her body was at the medical examiner’s office. The grandmother broke the terrible news. The family is waiting for the body to be released to a funeral home.

    “Janae’s father described her as a vivacious, lovable little girl who loves to play and always has a smile on her face. Her father said when he heard that Moore could be in the path of the storm he rushed to be with his daughter, but was stuck in traffic and unable to get to the school before the tornado struck. His home, just a few blocks away, was also severely damaged.
