When going out for a night of bowling you don’t expect someone to leave the alley with bullet wounds, but that’s exactly what happend at Jupiter Lanes.
A Florida man accidentally shot himself while bowling there Tuesday evening, according to UPI.com.
Witnesses at the bowling alley said the unidentified man, was carrying a gun in his front pocket. When he stepped up to bowl, the ball hit his pocket on the backswing, causing the gun to fire.
“Everybody kind of stopped,” said Debra Dean. “Everybody was looking, and all of a sudden you can tell something wasn’t right.”
The man reportedly limped off the lane area back to his seat while holding his leg. His injuries were not believed to be life-threatening and there is no word on why he was carrying a gun in the bowling alley to begin with.
