Charles Ramsey is the man!
Yes, the internationally know Cleveland hero and video star is also owning up to his past mistakes such as the domestic abuse incident we reported on earlier. He told TMZ that he’s a better man after having gone through that phase of his life.
“Those incidents helped me become the man I am today and are the reason why I try to help the community as much as I can…including those women,” Charles said in reference to his rescue of Amanda Berry and two other women who had been kidnapped and abused.
Of course it’s inevitable that some have changed their opinion of Ramsey in light of the news of his past transgressions, but stated that he’s apologized to his ex-wife he’s accused of abusing years ago.
Ramsey then dropped this gem which puts his situation in perspective:
“If I had so much hatred for women, I would have minded my own business this week and walked away instead of risking my life to save someone else.”
