Two of today’s hottest artists have teamed up for a new video.
Miguel just released the visuals for “How Many Drinks,’ the third single lifted from his sophomore album Kaleidoscope Dream. The song, which features a verse by Kendrick Lamar, details a guy’s thought process as he spends money on a woman in the club.
“How many drinks do I have to buy before we can take this private party to my crib,” he sings.
Instead of creating a typical in-the-club video, the R&B singer decided to go a different route.
In the latest issue of VIBE, where Miguel and Kendrick Lamar share the cover spotlight, the “Adorn” singer said he plans to give fans more visuals of his performance skills.
“It was really important to capture the artistry and performance–and almost elevate the artistry and integrity of the song,” he said. “I thought this was a good way for people to understand who I am on stage and as a performer.”
