Weeks after a blog run by the leaders of The Animation Guild reported that Fox’s “The Cleveland Show” was canceled, Fox sources have denied the claim, saying that a decision has yet to be made.
Judging from Fox’s Sunday animation lineup, it appears that “The Cleveland Show” is already toast, with returning shows “Family Guy,” “American Dad” and “Bob’s Burgers” returning next season, along with the new series “Murder Police.”
No additional episodes of “The Cleveland Show,” which is currently scheduled to air through May, have been ordered, according to TVGuide.com. But in the past, other Fox animated shows, such as “King of the Hill” and “Family Guy,” have been put on extended hiatuses before coming back.
