A Baltimore family is upset after they were kicked off a United Airlines  flight after complaining about the movie being played.

According to the family, they were on a flight from Denver to Baltimore on February 2, when they asked the flight attendant if they could turn off the “Alex Cross” film being played.

The family has two young sons, aged 4 and 8, and they were concerned the movie was too violent for their children to watch.

The flight attendants said they were unable to turn off the movie or close the movie screens.

After asking to speak with the pilot, the flight was diverted to Chicago, once their, the family was reportedly questioned by the FBI and was booked another flight to Baltimore.

United Airlines confirmed diverting the flight, saying in a statement “The flight landed without incident and the customers were removed from the aircraft. We re-accommodated the customers on the next flight to Baltimore and have since conducted a full review of our in-flight entertainment.”
