If National Zoo giant panda Mei Xiang gets pregnant and gives birth to a cub this year, the zoo will be forced to run a paternity test to find out which of two male giant pandas is the father.
Mei Xiang is expected to give birth in the next couple of months, pandas’ pregnancies last up to 160 days.
