This story would’ve ended up in the joke section, but it’s real. We didn’t realize there was such a demand for bacon-flavored products on the market.
But Procter & Gamble stands by the authenticity of their new bacon-flavored Scope. The company claims that the mouthwash will leave your breath minty fresh while giving you breath that sizzles.
How is that possible? Just sounds like hot breath to me. With that information alone, the product is shaping up to be a fail.
The mouthwash must have been test-marketed and largely accepted and requested…we hope. Maybe the major draw for the mouthwash came when Procter & Gamble announced that: “No pigs are harmed during the making of Scope Bacon. The bacon taste you’ll find in Scope Bacon is a perfectly healthy synthetic flavoring.”
If you don’t believe us, check it out for yourself. The commercial is running on the Scope site as well. Sorry Scope, we believe you, but I think I’ll just keep getting my bacon out the skillet. Something about swishing my bacon around in my mouth doesn’t appeal to me. (See below)
