  • MIAMI BEACH, Fla. (AP) — New York Giants defensive tackle Shaun Rogers had a pair of diamond earrings and gold jewelry stolen from his Miami Beach hotel room.

Miami Beach police are looking for a woman accused of taking over $400,000 worth of jewelry from a safe inside Rogers’ room at the Fontainebleau Hotel. A police report shows Rogers reported the items missing Monday after a night out on South Beach.

Rogers missed last season after developing a blood clot in his leg following a preseason game. He had been signed as a free agent in April.

Rogers has played with Detroit, Cleveland and New Orleans, recording 602 tackles, 37 1/2 sacks, 27 passes defensed, four forced fumbles, nine fumble recoveries and an interception return for a touchdown. He has also blocked 14 field-goal attempts.

    1. Dam…how much was his contract worth seeing he didn’t piay last year and been bounce around to three different teams?

    2. Who’s fault is that? Why would you need that at a hotel? He should’ve left that at home! And it’s probably someone he opened his mouth up/bragged about having and the person/persons came back and took it!
