  • Michael Jordan has reportedly made sure he’s not taken to the cleaners by his soon-to-be new wife, Yvette Prieto, like he was with his first wife, Juanita Vanoy.

Reports say the basketball legend got Prieto to sign a prenuptial agreement. The National Enquirer reports that the prenup will protect nearly all of Jordan’s $650 million fortune.

‘Michael loves Yvette, but he won’t let that interfere with his common sense – and his money – like it did before,’ a source allegedly told the publication.

Jordan, 50, and his 33-year-old bride-to-be, who are scheduled to marry on April 27, will each keep the assets that they bring to the marriage, it has been reported.

However, should the couple end up divorcing, Yvette will allegedly receive $1 million for every year that they were married. And if the marriage lasts for 10 years, she will receive $5 million per year if they split up.

It makes sense for Jordan to get the prenup in place because when his first marriage to Juanita Vanoy ended in divorce, she walked away with a whopping $168 million, the couple’s Chicago mansion, and custody of their three children.
