HOUSTON — A Houston man is jailed on charges he repeatedly raped an 11-year-old neighbor who became pregnant.
Authorities say the girl delivered a baby Thursday.
Twenty-one-year-old Deandrea Devon Davis-Williams was arrested late Tuesday night and charged with continuous sexual abuse of a child. A judge Thursday tripled Davis-Williams’ original $50,000 bond and set arraignment for April 23.
Court documents show the girl’s mother received a call from her daughter’s school saying school officials believed she was pregnant. Police say when the mother bought a home pregnancy test and explained it to her daughter, the girl told her of the repeated assaults.
A visit to a doctor confirmed the pregnancy.
Court documents show the attacks occurred almost daily for seven months while the mother was at work.
