21-year-old Jesus Mata created a false robbery story after blowing his $1000 tax refund check at a local strip club.
Mata told police that two cars cornered him, then proceeded to hop out of the car, pull guns out on him and steal his money.
After the police began investigating his story, they soon began to realize the story wasn’t adding up. Finally, the man admitted that the story was a lie and he created it because he was scared to tell his wife the truth.
The police charged him with filing a false report.
