A restaurant famed for his cholesterol laden-menu has lost another loyal customer to a heart attack.
Heart Attack Grill’s unofficial spokesman John Alleman suffered a massive heart attack last week at a bus stop. He was placed on life support at Las Vegas Sunrise Hospital and later taken off on Monday.
Alleman dined at the famous restaurant every day.
“This was a really nice human being, just the greatest guy you would ever want to know,” said restaurant owner Jon Basso.
The Heart Attack Grill prides itself in having monstrous hamburgers, promoting their menu as “taste…worth dying for.”
Customers can choose from a number of uniquely-named selections such as the “Single Bypass,” “Double Bypass, and “Triple Bypass.” The “Quadruple Bypass,” which contains four meat patties weighing three pounds was named the “world’s most calorific burger in the Guinness Book of World Records with 9,982 calories.
The restaurant even takes on the full medical persona with Basso referring to himself as “Doctor Jon.” Customers are viewed as patients and waitresses portray nurses taking patient orders known as “prescriptions.”
