Chris Paul jokes with the crew about Ricki Lake’s cancellation, sperm count, and Joe Jackson’s parenting skills.

Read the full transcript below.

This is Chris Paul from the TJMS running through the top stories in roughly sixty seconds with The Morning Minute.

Oh, no, the Ricki Lake Show has been cancelled.  ♫ Go Ricki, Go Ricki ♫ No, really, go.  This one time, daytime diva tried to launch a comeback with her new talk show, but nobody watched.  Ricki just might be another victim of Fat Star Slim Down Rejection Syndrome.  That’s a condition that occurs when a celebrity loses weight and all of the sudden the public doesn’t like them as much anymore.  For instance, people liked Jennifer Hudson a lot more when she was heavier.  Anthony Andersen worked a lot more when he was heavier.  And Fat Joe lost 100 pounds, now the IRS wants to lock his skinny ass up.

According to a new study men who watch a lot of television have a lower sperm count.  I don’t know about that, but I do know that since I watch a lot of Washington Wizards games on TV and I keep missing all my shots.

Joe Jackson is speaking out on parenting.  Joe says that parents today are too soft on their kids and they need to step up their disciplining.  And Joe knows because he raised the Jackson Five.  So basically is saying that if you beat your kids you’ll get Michael Jackson and if you don’t you’ll get Shawty-Lo.

I’m Chris Paul and this was The Morning Minute.
