Standup comic, natural hair advocate and comedic pioneer via her stint on the groundbreaking shows “In Living Color” and “Living Single,” Kim Coles has had an enviable career. Now she’s taking it to the next level with her one-woman show “Wait…But There’s More.”  The one-woman show is a look at Coles’ life through comedy, of course, and it includes takes on her famous TV roles, her formative years, her career fits and starts and her triumph over self-doubt and the challenges of fame.

The show kicks off at Los Angeles’ El Toro Theater and runs through January 20th. Coles then heads to the East Coast in February for a three-night stand at the Laurie Beechman Theatre near Times Square.

Here’s a preview of “Wait…But There’s More.”

The show takes place February 1, 2, and 3. To buy tickets and for more information, click here.

Kim is also working with the United Negro College Fund Empower Me Tour that is traveling the country to inspire young people to achieve. The published author of “I’m Free…But It Will Cost You” has also created a new book “The Gratitude Journal,” an interactive workbook that shares her personal experiences with gratitude and spirituality and invites you to tap into your own.

Watch Kim talk about her celebrity crush Idris Elba and working with Oprah. Coles is  the co-host of the game show “Are You Normal, America?” that appears on the Oprah Winfrey Network. (OWN).
