My name Sam Pollinzi and i am the pastor of “Restored Hope Ministries” in Dallas, Texas. We are a ministry for women caught in sex slavery and trafficking with no way out and unable to break loose. The devastation of sex slavery and trafficking in our nation has rocketed in recent years. Childhood molestation, absentee fathers, divorce, rejection and fear account for a great number of women being drawn into the sex industry.
Tom, a conservative estimate puts the number of victims at any one time at 2.5 million. We also know that it affects every region of the world and generates tens of billions of dollars in profits for criminals each year. We opened our doors on December 5, 2012 to women and their children all over who need our help. Our one year program consists of transitional housing, food and all basic necessities needed for their protection and shelter, while they receive counseling, education, training and recovery programs.
Our Christmas wish is to finish the last room that will house three women with beds, night stands, bedding, covers, pillows, pictures and knick-knacks and also to finish other rooms that need additional items for their completion. Each room will provide a wonderful environment for restoring hope and putting lives back together.
