Just when we thought things had simmered down between the two, Deion and Pilar are back in the ring throwing jabs again.
Wednesday, a Texas judge granted NFL legend Deion Sanders temporary custody of his two sons, Shilo and Shedeur, until the former couple’s next hearing on January 9, 2013. The boys have been in his care since October.
To make matters even worse for Pilar, the judge also dropped her child support from $10,500 to $5,000. Pilar still has custody of their daughter, Shelomi Sanders.
When the trial resumes next month, Pilar is seeking to get their 13-year-marriage annulled. She also claims Deion owes backed child support to the tune of $50k, although Deion vehemently denies the claim.
Of course, Pilar is not going down quietly, her publicist released a statement saying, “Pilar has become a victim of Deion’s celebrity status, which has swayed the courts and blinded justice in this matter.”
Pilar then expressed her frustration to a gossip site, saying, “He [Deion] is using our innocent children as a pawn in this ugly, ugly divorce. I am sad that Deion has been able to keep my boys away from me since October 26th — no Halloween — no Thanksgiving and now he is threatening to keep them away from me for Christmas.”
