Two of three Saginaw triplet brothers are likely headed to prison after they were convicted of several felony charges, Michigan Live reports. Deshawn Shivers and Juronn Shivers, both 21, were convicted of unarmed robbery and conspiring to commit that crime on Monday in a Saginaw, Mich court.
Deshawn and Juronn were originally charged with armed robbery, conspiring to commit that crime, and two counts of possessing a firearm during the commission of a felony. The charges stemmed from an incident where the two were arrested and accused of robbing a man by the name of Johnnie C. Whittington at gunpoint.
Here is more from Michigan Live:
Whittington testified during Juronn Shivers’ November 2010 preliminary hearing that as he walked from Kroger back to The Crossings apartment complex, where he was visiting his mother, he noticed the Shivers brothers running at him.
Juronn Shivers, whom Whittington identified as his stepdaughter’s boyfriend, had been with Whittington earlier in the day when Whittington cashed a disability check, Whittington testified.
