  • Isn’t Nicki Minaj a rapper?

Why is she judging on a singing show?

    That’s exactly what TLC’s T-Boz is asking.

She doesn’t say much these days, but in a recent interview with ThisIsMax, the 90s star goes in on Nicki Minaj, saying she’s an oversexualized pop star who has nothing to do with singing.

“I don’t respect half [of] the people I’ve seen lately,” she says. “How the hell is she gon’ tell me what I should be doing when her @ss can’t even sing. Why is she there? And then… now they’ve got rappers that don’t even sing judging? So, this is totally based off of popularity I guess. I mean, to each their own. Get your money, honey. All I’m saying is, I will never watch [your] shows again.”

Since Nicki joined the panel, she’s been hit with all types of criticism and you know she’s not the one to keep quiet about it.

Of course Nicki’s fans – or should we say, Barbz – were not happy with T-Boz’s digs at their shero and lashed out at her on social media , reports TheYBF. But the TLC singer went in one more time via Twitter:

“I’m in this bizz. All this crap is fact & its based on bringing in numbers now and NOT really why it was originated,” Nicki says. “So get mad…scratch ya a**…take a picture I don’t but Remb it I’ll say what I want that doesn’t mean I don’t like or respect someone lol. “I’ll say what I think & always will I think it’s funny the truth is the truth ha the name calling sh*t is hysterical cuz I don’t wanna watch. I don’t hv a problem w/ Nikki. I don’t like what the shows stand for. Where’s the lil yellow bus beep beep. Y’all don’t think I’m mad or bothered, we’re over here cracking up cuz they going off over the wrong things it’s sad but funny.”

    1. I agree with T Boz. The last few seasons its been more about the judges then the contestants. A perfect example is when Jennifer Hudsdon lost. She was supposed to win. It just goes to show the priority is backwards which is unfortunate when you actually here people who can sing and get boot off because unfairness. I will watch again when artist who have been in the business for years can give advice to contestants on the pros and cons and share their own experience. It shows they can be fair and it is not based on popularity.
