  • Dwyane Wade has taken some heat after he tweeted a complaint, saying the post-Sandy traffic in New York was way too much for him.

“3 hour traffic just to get into the NY city… #C’monMan,” the Miami Heat player posted.

Fans and followers were not happy about his comment and put him on blast.

Shortly thereafter, he attempted to clean it up with, “2 be clear ‘Traffic tweet was meant 2 say’… We shouldn’t B [here] 2 play a basketball game when theirs so many families obviously still R affected by #Sandy.”

And then he announced that he’d be writing a $210,000 check to go toward Superstorm Sandy relief efforts.

    1. my small disability payments, and small v.a. payments, don’t put me in a multi-million salary bracket. but the $10.00 I did give was what I could do.

    2. you need to write a check more than what your baby mother drama gets. how about one or two million dollars, for that insult. since you have the money.

    3. I’m sure you have said something that has been taken “the wrong way” wen you are a celebrity or sports figure they blow it out of proportion.
