      These stars are missing

    2. Ne Ne Leakes is a bottom feeder. I’m not sure what Ebony Magazine is up to but I certainly will nt be purchasing this issue. How sad!

    3. I might of over looked it but …… No Condalisa Rice… former Sec. of State….. Being a Repulican shouldn’t exclude her from being in the top 25…. not to metion top 100… use your mind for something other than being exclusive vs. inclusive…

    4. This is why I cancelled my subscription to Ebony a while aro and I’m glad I did. The editor is a Joke and most of the articles. This is where our people are. Still loss in the wilderness!

    5. There are more than several that don’t belong on the 100 most powerful African Americans list but what about the ones that do belong on there like Jesse Jackson?

    6. Tom Oh Tom
Why are You trying over and over again trying to convince Black America that low class ghetto Blacks like NeNe , Rhianna belong to the Power 100 next to our Classy First Lady Michelle Obama.
The Founder OF Ebony, Mr. Johnson must be rolling in his grave ,seeing that his adopted daughter has turned a once Great Ebony Magazine to a trash insignificant magazine that insults Black America , and makes us Blacks the laughing stock of the world.
Again and Again Tom why can’t You understand the harm being done to our community exposing all the stereotypes about our people to the world.
Only 5% of Black America behave badly like this NeNe ,Character.
95% of us hardworking decent African Americans don’t talk or act like these clowns and lowest common denominators in our communities.
No wonder our youths think it’s ok to call each other the N word, call their sisters Ho .
No wonder we are fostering low self esteem to the point where our Young people want to impregnate/ and get Impregnated by whites in order to create Light skinned children . This is a chain of self hatred . We must uplift our communities , quit giving Bullets to our enemies. Self hatred is a tool to self destruction and low achievement. We must resist people within our communities who make $ Millions belitleling us. Boycot people who are enriching themselves by stripping our dignity and casting us into mental slavery.

    7. This list is missing a whole lot of great women,
below is just a few that come to mind.

      Iyanla Vanzant/ TV Show
      Miss Robbie/ Sweetie Pies
      Melissa Harris-Perry /Professor & TV Show
      Allyson Felix/Gold Medal 4×4 relay
Sanya Richards-Ross/ Gold Medal 4×4 relay
Dee Dee Trotter/ Gold Medal 4×4 relay
Francena McCorory/ Gold Medal 4×4 relay
Brittany Reese/ Gold Medal Long Jump

      Carmelita Jeter /Gold Medal 4×100 relay/World Record 40:82
      Tianna Madison/ Gold Medal 4×100 relay/World Record 40:82
      Allyson Felix/ Gold Medal 4×100 relay/World Record 40:82
      Bianca Knight/ Gold Medal 4×100 relay/World Record 40:82

    8. No Colin Powell, but Nene Leakes, a foul mouthed former stripper who’s claim to fame is being part of a stupid show about a bunch of clueless women putting each other down. Ebony magazine is such a joke.

    9. @africanwarrior…..So much of your comment is SO VERY TRUE…..to put almost half of the women and men on that list with Mr and Ms Obama is a true INSULT!!!!!!! What the hell could half of those half naked, hood acting, little to no self respect women have that any black woman would want their daughters to be influenced by? I don t get that! AND what the hell do a pimping pastor or a woman degrading trash talking rapper have that I would want them to influence my boy child growing up in today s times? I just don t get it! But is what it has become in todays society they are the role models that have our communities of young women paying more money for weave than education and looking like they swung off a pole–while the young men walking around with half of their dirty azz out and repeating a whole 3 minute rap song and can t even read their ABC’s! WHAT KIND OF INFLUENCE OR MESSAGE THE ENTERTAINMENT B U S I N E S S IS SENDING OTHER THAN —–THE LOVE OF MONEY IS THE ROOT OF ALL THIS FOOLISHNESS IN TODAYS SOCIETY!!
