Two virgins auctioned off their virtue for cash online.

For several weeks Catarina Miglorini accepted bids for her virginity in the efforts of donating to charity.

The Brazilian’s lucky winner was a Japanese man named Natsu who cashed out $780,000 for the 20-year-old’s virginity. During the final days of bidding, the estimates jumped to $190,000 until Natsu surpassed five other pursuers.

Miglorini, who is a physical education teacher, said she plans to give 90 percent of the money to help build homes in Santa Catarina, Brazil. However, auctioneers believe she might not realize the pressure and scrutiny she is under.

“I was surprised she said that because in all my dealings with her, she made it clear that it was a business decision for her,” said Justin Sisely, an auction organizer and Australian filmmaker. “Now given how big this story is in Brazil, she’s trapped. If she doesn’t give any money to charity, she’s going to look bad.”

Sisely plans to produce a documentary on Miglorini’s efforts.

Unfortunately another virgin didn’t capture quite as much attention in cash. Alex Stepanov was able to attract only $3,000 when he placed his virginity for sale. Ironically, his virtue was sold to a Brazilian woman named “Nene B,” who is of no relation to Miglorini.
