A Hong Kong real estate and shipping tycoon is offering millions to bachelors to turn his gay daughter straight.

Cecil Chao Sze-Tsung is known as a socialite spotlighted in the Chinese tabloids since the 1970s. Chao often bragged about his multiple encounters with women claiming that he’s slept with over 10,000 women.

Although the 76-year-old playboy never made any of the women his wife, he has fathered three kids.

In an interview with a Beijing media outlet, his 33-year-old daughter Gigi revealed that she and her longtime girlfriend Sean Eav were married in Paris earlier this year. Even though Chao appears to oppose the traditional sense of marriage for himself, he’s taking drastic measures to end his daughter’s marriage.

Hong Kong still does not accept same-sex marriages.

Chao is offering HK $500 million ($65 million U.S. dollars) to a man who can persuade his daughter to leave her wife.

“I don’t mind whether he is rich or poor. The important thing is that he is generous and kind-hearted,” Chao told a reporter.

During the interview, Chao shot down claims that the lesbian marriage was a false rumor.

“Gigi is a very good woman with both talents and looks. She is devoted to her parents, is generous and does volunteer work,” he said.

Responses poured in within just one day from all over the world. Gigi’s Facebook and Twitter pages became filled with messages and requests from suitors.

Gigi posted her reaction on Facebook: “where do all these people come from? Jerusalem? Ethiopia? Istanbul? Ridiculous.”

One particular suitor claiming to be a Brazilian Algae mountain climber posted on Gawker.com that he was willing to do anything to connect with the billionaire’s daughter.

“I think this girl is gorgeous and as I love women I am willing to fly to HK to meet with her. Can you please let me know how to arrange a meeting with them?”

In another press interview Gigi addressed her father’s proposition describing it as “quite entertaining.”

Gigi has not publicly confirmed or denied her marriage or her sexuality. She has, however acknowledged the issue of homosexuality.

“I’m not afraid to admit anything. But I do want to respect my parents,” she told a newspaper. “It’s still an uncomfortable issue for many people.”
