President Yahya Jammeh of Gambia agreed to release to American prisoners to Rev. Jesse Jackson this past week.
According to Jesse Jackson, Jemmeh will also suspend the executions of over a dozen death row inmates who were set to be killed by the beginning of October.
One American was imprisoned for creating "End Dictatorship Now" shirts against the Jammeh regime; while the other was imprisoned for twenty years for attempting to overtake Jammeh.
Rev. Jesse Jackson was able to succeed in getting these two Americans back home because of his relationship with the Gambia government.
Jackson worked as an citizen, not connected to the U.S. government which makes the feat even greater.
The two men returned home last night.
