Damon Williams has infiltrated the Republican National Convention and is bringing you insights on what "seriously ignorant" stuff is going down.
Williams has been trying to figure out where are all the black people at the RNC and how come there aren't many black republicans.
He asked Michael Steele, and he said, "that's not happening, it's over, forget it" on the idea of black people becoming Republicans.
But probably the most noteworthy response was from Rep. Bruce Williamson, who said, "African-Americans need to stop waiting on the check… waiting on the welfare." Before telling Williams about a time he saw a black family celebrating receiving $700 dollars worth of disability funds.
