JetBLue has announced they will be cutting down legroom in coach, in order to create more rows in premium seating.
The change benefits JetBlue in two ways. It will expand the premium section of their airlines which are more expensive to be seated in. Also, it may get customers who usually travel in coach to upgrade to premium seating because of the lack of legroom.
JetBlue is not the only airline joining in on the shrinkage. Southwest Airlines and WestJet also have made similar changes in their legroom sizes.
The change will add almost two more rows to first class.
