Daniel "Diggy" Simmons grew up before viewers eyes on MTV's hit reality show "Run's House."
Now the former TV tween is branching out on his own, starring in a new show excluding his family on BET.
The scripted series will be directed by Mara Brock Akil and Salim Akil who are best known for their work on "The Game."
The untitled show will be similar to the TV show "Entourage" except it will Center around Diggy's character; a teenage blogger on a journey to fame with his closest friends by his side.
Currently the show is only a two hour pilot with hopes that it will be picked up for a full series.
Shooting on the show will begin next year.
