A Connecticut man is facing assault charges after he cut off his roommate’s finger while he was sleeping.
West Haven police said that 57-year old Wayne Moore cut off his roommate’s finger because he was upset over the roommate’s wishes to end their relationship.
When police arrived to the scene they found large amounts of the blood on the floor and in the bathroom sink.
The roommate was sent to a local hospital for treatment.
Moore was charged with second-degree assault and disorderly conduct.
