ALLEN PARK, Mich. (AP) — Police say a 39-year-old man is the only suspect in the deaths of a Detroit-area couple whose dismembered bodies were found floating in the Detroit River.

The man was arrested Thursday but has not been charged in the deaths of Chris Hall and Danielle Greenway.

Allen Park Police Chief James Wilkewitz says that's a likely next step but won't happen Friday. They have not released the man's name.

Two bodies with no feet, heads or hands were found Tuesday. The victims were fatally shot.

Neighbors say a man who recently moved in with the couple was picked up by police. Wilkewitz refused to say if he's the man in custody.

Police are looking for Greenway's van, a tan 2005 GMC Safari with Michigan license plate 7JCM9.
