The troubles for Club W.iP. – where the Chris Brown vs. Drake fiasco went down in New York on June 14 – continue to mount.
The State Liquor Authority filed 14 charges against the nightclub, including not stopping the bloody brawl.
As we previously reported, other charges were linked to other fights, noise violations, and two drug-related incidents.
“They’re absolutely in jeopardy of losing their licenses,” said SLA spokesman William Crowley. “They have a number of prior charges, too, so that comes into play when we’re looking at taking action.”
W.i.P. was previously in trouble for selling alcohol to minors. In September 2010, a security guard was caught selling marijuana to an undercover agent.
Now the club is also dealing with a $20 million lawsuit related to the bloody brawl. NBA star, Tony Parker filed the suit, claiming that the club owners should have known not to allow the two passes to be in the same space.
Parker suffered injuries, as well as others nearby, including Brown’s bodyguard who suffered a gaping head wound.
