HOUSTON (AP) — City police say three people have been killed and two are wounded after a shooting outside a strip club in southwest Houston.

Police spokesman Victor Senties (SEN'-tees) says three people died at the scene in the shooting around 3:40 a.m. Wednesday and two others were taken to a hospital with gunshot wounds. He had no further information about their conditions or about the people killed and injured in the shooting.

KTRK TV reports that witnesses said more than 20 shots were fired in the parking lot of Scores Cabaret strip club. Senties did not name the club but he provided a street address for the shooting that is the same as the address for Scores Cabaret.

Senties did not say whether anyone has been arrested in connection with the gunfire.
