Comedian Bill Bellamy occupies a special place in black comedy. While he’s not considered to be among the “Kings of Comedy” style icons, and he’s not quite at the level of a Chris Rock or Eddie Murphy, he’s hardly complaining.
For the past 15 years, Bellamy’s personable demeanor and polished hosting skills have kept him working. Whether he’s MC’ing shows like “Last Comic Standing” or “Who’s Got Jokes,” Bellamy’s on the scene. His latest standup special “Crazy, Sexy, Dirty” airs on Showtime on Saturday, June 2 at 8 p.m.
Expect him to cover things like what makes Jay-Z and Beyonce such a great couple, the “flip-flop” culture, female sexuality, “making it rain,” Li’l Wayne, relationships in the virtual world and more.
Filmed live at the Saban Theater in Hollywood, “Crazy, Sexy, Dirty” is now available to everyone at home.
