Los Angeles pastor Rev. Jesse Lee Paterson, an African-American Tea Party advocate, is becoming known not for his uplifting sermons but for lowering the value of women.
The pastor is no stranger to controversy. In a speech made in March, the pastor made a continuous string of offensive, ignorant comments about women, saying that giving the women the right to vote was “America’s biggest mistake,” that most women cannot make logical decisions and that women are unable to handle power.
